"Safety First" is the motto that every good Assistant Director lives by. First and foremost, day in and day out, from prep to scouting, to crew call to camera wrap to tail lights. As a member of the DGA, Yori prides himself on staying at the front of safety education and training to keep his fellow technicians & artists safe everyday at work.

The Covid-19 global pandemic has effected every aspect of the entertainment industry and the Assistant Director's role has become increasingly vital in overseeing "The Safe Way Forward" presented by film industry unions. Beyond attending the DGA's 1st AD & "The Safe Way Forward" seminar, Yori has also completed several training courses, receiving accreditation.
